Professionally I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate (BCBA-D) and received my Ph. D. from the University of North Texas but my journey to fulfilling my life’s purpose as a Leader in Autism Treatment & Reading Advocate have been shaped through my personal experiences:

How It Works
As an invited speaker at state, national and international conferences, I have presented on topics related to behavior management, self-help skills, social skills, academic strategies for reading, and research findings. In addition, I have taught graduate-level coursework, continue to be an invited speaker at events and school districts, and have published research on effective parent training in the Journal of Education and Treatment of Children. I’m also currently active in working with legislators to better understand Autism and Behavior Analysis.

When is the last time someone has taken care of YOU? One of my goals each year is to give back to the special needs community. I do this through free events and community givebacks.

Virtual Mom’s Mingle
When is the last time someone has taken care of YOU? Our Mom’s Mingles look a little different his year but I’m excited to host our 2nd Virtual Mom’s Mingle this October. The theme is Back to School PJ Party and I can’t wait to share with you some fun games, deserved prizes, and introduce you to some close friends who share my vision of taking care of special needs mamas and caregivers.
PASSION
Projects
I am currently serve as the President for the Organizational Behavior Management SIG and a Board Member of United in Autism. My previous roles include the Executive Council for Texas Association for Behavior Analysis former President of the TXABA DFW-Autism SIG. I’m proud to say I’ve worked in conjunction with other ABA professionals to establish the TxABA-Public Policy Group and also contributed to the passage of the SB589 bill in Texas which now regulates the practice of Behavior Analysis in Texas.
